I got it at 2018, now that it's 2022, it's easily outdated and is way worse to the alternatives now. I like it because it's not bulky and big and chunky. The feel is great, very tiny and the case can be easily changed, unlike the Mi Smart Band 6. Still, it's not the best choice now, but for a kid like 7 or 8, the Mi Band 2 is actually quite fair for it's pricing and easiness to use.
