Most fun I've had with a smartphone in years

Oh the camera and the display on this absolute unit, are phenomenal! I have had so much fun messing around in pro mode and just using android in general as this is my first android phone. I just saw the reviews when it came out and immediately exchanged my 11 pro for it and I haven't looked back since! Adios Apple! The phone is still holding up really good though the paint has chipped on the sides, something I did not expect from a flagship. But it doesnt bother me too much since the rest of the phone is so good! I am planning on picking up the S23 Ultra next!!

Pros

  • Camera- lot of fun IF you know what you're doing. FUn to take pictures of the moon with the zoom capabilities. (tho its mostly AI, still a neat party trick)
  • Display
  • Software. I quite like one UI over stock. Also have a pixel and I tend to find it quite boring.

Cons

  • Camera- lol it is a bit inconsistent and sometimes auto mode takes really bad photos. It has trouble focusing on close up subjects. Not the greatest point and shoot camera.
  • Battery. Have to charge it 2-3 times but it is a 2 year old phone after all, but even when it was brand new, it never lasted a full day without me switching on battery saver in the late evening
  • under display fingerprint scanner- you need to be very careful when setting it up. Just not as good as the physical ones they had previously
