Dripping with culture

Liverpool will always have the obvious cultural 'highlights' but it is the sub-culture, the hidden gems, that really make it a great city. For every 'The Beatles' there is a 'Stealing Sheep' or a 'She Drew The Gun'. For every 'Tate Liverpool' there is a 'The Royal Standard' or 'Output'. For every 'The Cavern Club' there is a '24 Kitchen St' or a 'QUARRY'... ...and that is just scratching the surface. To live in and move around the city is all relatively easy and straightforward. The housing has markedly improved over the past decade. An increase in modern housing and offset by beautiful Georgian and Victorian town houses and mansions, and rows of terraced houses. For those visiting the city, as many stag and hen parties will attest, there is a wealth of hotels and serviced apartments, but the real attraction is the food scene and nightlife. A certain pair of famous football clubs will also always attract people to the city. For foodies, thanks to cheap rents and a captive client-base, many start-ups have chosen Liverpool and their testing ground to great effect, rather than opting for a bigger city like Manchester of Leeds. Add to that the rich melting pot of cultures who have adopted Liverpool as their home, you can imagine there is an embarrassment of high quality options when it comes to choosing where to eat.
