HyperX Cloud Alpha review: specs and price

The HyperX Cloud Alpha is one of the best mid-range gaming headsets money can buy. Its 50mm dual-chamber drivers are designed to separate the bass from the highs and mids, resulting in excellent sound quality that’s hard to beat at this price point.

HyperX is well known for the comfort of its headsets, and the Cloud Alpha is no exception. Large memory foam ear cups and an adjustable aluminum headband let you achieve a great fit that will allow you to play for hours on end, whether that’s on PC or console. If you’re playing online, the Discord-certified noise-canceling microphone ensures your teammates will have no problem understanding you, even in the most intense moments.

Another feature worth mentioning is that the cable on this wired gaming headset is detachable. Although it might seem a minor detail, replacing a broken cable for a few bucks, instead of the entire headset, is a huge plus and helps it last for many years.
