I personally think the HTC Vive Pro would be my choice. In my opinion, the OLED (deep black level) panels and the light weight/comfort of the Vive Pro makes for a more enjoyable experience in VR than the Valve Index's (more faded colored, god-rayed) panels/lenses and slight heavier headset. Those would be the deciding factors for me with these headsets (I own both of them). The Valve Index is better looking (headset design), has a better audio solution, wider field of view (FOV) (which I don't really pay that much attention too while in VR, honestly) has a better microphone and better controllers...however the Vive has a decent interesting design, acceptable FOV, good headset speakers, crappy microphone(i don't hear the microphone so it doesn't really bother me, however still worth mentioning.) and the controllers for the Valve index can natively be used for the Vive pro. With all that pointed out, the impressive colors of the Vive Pro steps out ahead in my opinion.

Pros

  • Rich Color OLED displays
  • Comfortable, Light weight
  • Easier to upgrade and repair

Cons

  • outdated resolution

I dont have any more to say. Strap is amazingly balancing weights and so comfortable. Screen is OLED which makes VR looks great, also 90Hz is awesome. SteamVR is good app(compared to crappy Pitool and barely working Oculus Link with Quest). Tracking is flawless, literally.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Good screen
  • Uses SteamVR
  • Better tracking method

Cons

  • Vive Wands aren't the best
  • Expensive

1.screen size

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

5.76"

The bigger the screen size is, the better the user experience.
2.resolution

2880 x 1600px

4896 x 2448px

Resolution is an essential indicator of a screen's image quality, representing the maximum amount of pixels that can be shown on the screen. The resolution is given as a compound value, comprised of horizontal and vertical pixels.
3.field of view

110°

120°

A wider field of view assures an immersive and realistic experience.
The frequency at which the screen is refreshed. Higher frequency results in less flickering (less noise) and more natural movement representation in action-intense scenes.

The device has an electronic display to present information to the user.
7.Has an OLED or AMOLED display
HTC Vive Pro
HTC Vive Pro 2
OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays are formed of organic materials that emit light. They have higher contrast ratios and wider viewing angles compared to LCDs. AMOLED and POLED are types of OLED displays.
8.lens diameter

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro 2)

Lenses with a bigger diameter offer better image quality.
9.pixel density

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

950ppi

Pixel density is a measurement of a screen's resolution, expressed as the number of pixels per inch (PPI) on the screen. A higher pixel density translates into more clarity and sharpness for the images rendered on the screen, thus improving the quality of the viewing experience.

Performance

1.CPU speed

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro 2)

The CPU speed indicates how many processing cycles per second can be executed by a CPU, considering all of its cores (processing units). It is calculated by adding the clock rates of each core or, in the case of multi-core processors employing different microarchitectures, of each group of cores.
2.RAM

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro 2)

Random-access memory (RAM) is a form of volatile memory used to store working data and machine code currently in use. It is a quick-access, temporary virtual storage that can be read and changed in any order, thus enabling fast data processing.
3.internal storage

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro)

Unknown. Help us by suggesting a value. (HTC Vive Pro 2)
